Ash class visit to Hartlebury Castle.
Tue 26 Apr 2022Today, Ash class went to Hartlebury Castle to learn all about what it was like to be a Victorian school child. The girls had to wear white pinafore's and the boys needed to wear sailor collars. After that, we went into the classroom and had our lessons. We read a story together, answered some questions and then practiced our writing on our slate boards. We had to stand when answering a question and we always needed to use ma'am to reply to the teacher. We then played with Victorian toys at break time. In the afternoon, we went around the museum and saw Victorian toys, a Victorian nursery and we also had some time to look in the Bishops Palace. We had a fantastic day and learnt lots!
