Little Acorn Nursery
Welcome to Little Acorn Nursery
At Little Acorn Nursery, we are proud to offer a warm, nurturing, and caring environment for children from the age of two. As a small setting, we are able to get to know every child as an individual, helping them to feel safe, valued, and confident as they begin their learning journey.
Our experienced adults follow children's interests and passions, fostering a lifelong love of learning through purposeful play, exploration, and discovery. By getting actively involved in children's play, we support and extend their learning in meaningful and engaging ways.
We make full use of both our indoor and outdoor environments to provide rich learning experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and independence. We believe that every child should feel a strong sense of belonging, achieve their full potential, and flourish in a setting where they are celebrated for who they are.
We are delighted that Ofsted (January 2026) recognised the quality of our provision, noting that:
"Children make significant progress from their starting points and are well prepared for the next stage of their education."
If you are looking for a welcoming and inspiring nursery for your child, we would love to meet you. At Little Acorn Nursery, every day is an open day. Please contact the school office to arrange a visit and experience our wonderful setting for yourself. We look forward to welcoming you and your family.
