We will now be asking all visitors to the school to take a lateral flow test before arriving in school. Visitors may only attend by prior appointment.
Face coverings are required to be worn by staff and adults unless exempt (including visitors) when moving around in corridors and communal areas. Parents are asked to wear masks from the school drive to the school building entrance.
The Government has made it a national priority that education and childcare settings should continue to operate as normally as possible during the COVID-19 pandemic and the safety of our school community is our highest priority. We will implement our high standards and increased amount of cleaning and ensure appropriate ventilation is in place in the school. If we have a member of staff or pupil test positive for the coronavirus, we will follow national and local guidelines.
Whilst there is no requirement for a child to self-isolate if they are a close contact of someone that has tested positive for COVID-19 the government guidelines on testing must be followed. In addition, there may be times that local and national health teams require school to implement some additional measures.
Please see our Outbreak Management Plan in the event we were advised to reintroduce any further measures to help break chains of transmission.
